History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Aasathra never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Heward was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bather. He became a Bather soon after.

Personality: Korfel hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Beast fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. Buvvie is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Buvvie hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She now mingles about in high society.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Navigator for the past few years.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion; and expand his business

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
