History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Adelard took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up nunchaku and armor he uses now. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: She is a husky woman, who wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. Her crest is greying and her face has many wrinkles. She has gold eyes and a black hat with a blue feather.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 20th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Furrele was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Description: This eastern man is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His clothes are grease stained in places. His scarlet crest is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His gold eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Medrash was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Blacksmith. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears long strands of opal and short violet dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He has moderate length red hair. His skin is flawless and his brown eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Arnold is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Direcris was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Body Guard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.
