Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has wavy white hair. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: Oppleby hails from a village terrorized by illithids. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Description: He stands about 5'9" and wears a fancy green suit. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He keeps his long blue hair kept up in a rat tail. He has gleaming, smiling gold eyes.
Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When Habor reached his early adolescence his Tiefling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

Description: She is renowned for her bright pastel dresses and hats. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. She has brown fur. Her blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Orc people; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Description: Her skin is bronze and flawless. She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. She is an epitome of beauty. She keeps her long golden hair kept up in a rat tail. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.
Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. During her travels, Symma and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Symma discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Symma fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: This slender man stands about 6'6". He is dressed in an above average manner. His moppish silver hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gnarsh is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. At some point he was captured by goblins and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
