After coming to the age of reason, Bertram took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hugh does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When Hugh reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: She got into the Miner business at a young age. In her youth she was a Carpenter, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She has worked as a Miner like her father before her.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Skamos was born with his mother's beautiful face. Skamos abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Description: A pudgy man standing about 3'6" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is typically in his Carpenter uniform. He has dyed his greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. His eyes are gray.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Eberdeb was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Eberdeb was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Eberdeb's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Eberdeb fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Morkral alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Morkral was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
