Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.
History: Rael was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Kody was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and revenge

Description: He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. He has moderate length white crest. His gold eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: Dadalan hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit men.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Personality: He is a Shepherd first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Gûndza was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Shepherd. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: She hates Tieflings with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.
History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Decarabia was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and elven compassion

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears baggy brown pantaloons and a violet scarf. His deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.
Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across
History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Fragrant grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Fragrant. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture
