History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shoemaker. He's also a talented Miner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Beatrice is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Beatrice was born with her mother's beautiful face. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Beatrice has worked very hard to control her curse. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: Tree lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He tends to his Carpenter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Barber. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She now mingles about in high society.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Burana abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
