History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her grey robe. Her gold crest is thinning but still full. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. History: Chenna hails from a village terrorized by giants. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Eloise was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Eloise's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Eloise and her spouse have recently divorced.

He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
