Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Butcher they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Engraver, and she later adopted a second son.

History: Chem was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Scribe for hire.
