History: She got into the Slave Trader business at a young age. Through the years after Farideh was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Farideh's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born to a Ruler, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He's also a talented Ruler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. History: Watson was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman.
