History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Crown-heir hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. After a long history of fighting, Bathin and his spouse have recently divorced.
