Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. History: Born in the east to a Mercenary, Astaro learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Marshal, but she got bored and became a Mercenary. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Sumnes was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Sumnes fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Soapmaker. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Alice was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She tends to her Soapmaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Expand her business; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

History: Zanna lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Ploughman and was forced into it by her family; and seeks redemption

He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Being a Laborer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Armorer born in the past three hundred years. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He struck the Armorer job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and to be a baker again

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Grûblik hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: Laucian is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
