When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Shautha took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor she uses now. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: She got into the Sage business at a young age. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Sage for hire.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Tawna was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Tawna never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: Born in the east to a Junk Dealer, Rolen learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has worked as a Junk Dealer like his mother before him.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Ulblyn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Courier, but he got bored and became a Bookbinder. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
