History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He wears his golden hair up. His ears are large.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bather but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: Nuraval was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Orc activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Orc doctor. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears yellow trousers with green and yellow striped suspenders. She wears various colorful collared shirts. Her silver hair is well kept. Her eyes are blue and she is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Xanaphia was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Xanaphia grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Xanaphia. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. She sports a flattop hair cut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.
Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Ida is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.
History: She comes from a rich northern family. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and doesn't want to be a masseuse and was forced into it by her family

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: Kelter hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Seamstress work with an outfit from a few towns over. Seamstress work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
