History: Carlin was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Carlin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Carlin. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
