History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Gennal was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Adventurer. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: Trym lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Trym grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Trym. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
