History: Barakas was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. After coming to the age of reason, Barakas took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents were killed by goblins in a raid when she was still a young child. The goblins captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it; and someone believes her a fraud

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Gnomish compassion; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
