History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Helgret was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Helgret's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
