History: Salanop lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Salanop grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Salanop. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She is an amazing painter.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. Aldous is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Aldous never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
