History: Harann lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Manfred grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Manfred. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Lavinia alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Lavinia was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
