Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears blue leather gloves, a blue jacket, and tight pants. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls.

Description: This man wears a grey armored body suit, with a simple blue line shooting up and back down, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His golden hair and beard is wavy and long. His violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: Harbek is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This western woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. Her red hair is greasy and uncared for. This red eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: Further expansion of business; and to reunite with her old friends

He usually wears his brown robe and has his dagger always slung over his shoulder. He is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are a pleasant violet.
Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. After a long history of fighting, Kithri and her spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.
History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Ghaliver's homeland. Ghaliver decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tiefling people; and tiefling compassion

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.
History: Bhevek lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and doesn't want to be a ruler and was forced into it by his family

She has wavy golden hair. Her hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Vanchu is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Vanchu alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and many illithids want her driven away

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Balimaar embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's also a talented Sailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
