History: She was born in the north. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Drusilia has worked very hard to control her curse. She became a Beggar soon after.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. A true patriot, Surina would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She became a Guard soon after.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Apothecary, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and many giants want him driven away

Personality: Merla speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Merla was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Merla never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
