History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Engraver mother left him crippled. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: He was born into a rich family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.
