History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mastema fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Nikki isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Gifted from a young age, Nikki studied abroad. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Mamnen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Engong was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Xanaphia was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the orcs.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Galinndan was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

History: He was born in the west. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. While she appears to be a normal Tiefling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
