History: Born in the east to a Bellfounder, Bertram learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now owns his own business.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Quilla was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Quilla abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Tiefling culture. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Whurdred was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After months of barely getting by, Whurdred managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. A true patriot, Donella would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born to a Junk Dealer, her father struggled to pay the bills. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Cartwright and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: Dwarven compassion; and a strong sense of loyalty to dwarven people

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Flak enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He got into the Scribe business at a young age. Through the years after Flak was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Flak's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Scribe for the past few years.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Junk Dealer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Junk Dealer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She became a Bookbinder soon after.
