History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Five grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born in the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Boddynock grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Boddynock. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Heian lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. A true patriot, Geva would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Geva was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
