Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. The war was a terrible time for him, and Morthos does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up work as a Scribe and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Masseuse they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Marshal, and he later adopted a second son.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. While he appears to be a normal Tabaxi, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
