Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Edge is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hadarai does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her first spouse was a Marshal, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and an old rival family wants her found

History: Gifted from a young age, Claira studied abroad. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
