History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This eastern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines red.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Armara grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Armara. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He worked as a nervous Servant and found it very stressful. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Servant.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This slender woman stands about 4'10". She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her hair is auburn, silky, and of moderate length. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her blue eyes.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She's also a talented Hunter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.

He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Ruler they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Miner, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Being a Interpreter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
