History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Nedda was born on a far southern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Tanner. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
