History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At some point he was captured by goblins and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Roland was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and regain custody of her daughter

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A gifted student he started as a Glassblower, but he got bored and became a Fisher. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.
