She found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. During her travels, Valanthe and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Valanthe discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Valanthe fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Ulblyn was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. Ulblyn was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Carpenter. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
