History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the south. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: She got into the Bowyer business at a young age. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Adran grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Adran. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born in a small forest village. Ronwe liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: Egelina lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying east to reunite her family. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A freak accident while working with her Brewer mother left her crippled. She now owns her own business.
