Personality: Oren speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Oren hails from a village terrorized by drow. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting drow, the young Oren began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born in a small island village. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Doctor. She became a Doctor soon after.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has achieved small success as a Carpenter.

Leaf's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Leaf and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.
