Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with top hat. His long rusty crest is drawn into a two foot long braid. His red eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Born in the north to a Laborer, Mehen learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Laborer.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: This woman wears many layers of old clothing at all times, and sports empty pouches on her belt. Her silver hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Description: He is a pot bellied western man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His crest is short and copper. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mreksh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Born in the east to a Scribe, Shane learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). She has dyed her greying auburn hair a little too much giving a sharp auburn color. This green eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She takes great joy in being the best Baker in town.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has worked as a Roofer like her father before her.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
