Description: With green face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.
History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized pastel coat. He carries a battered shortspear and tarnished longsword as well. His beige fur is greasy and uncared for. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines yellow.
Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Art is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: Art lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and he's repulsed by the pc

Description: She dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. She carries with her a set of maces, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her black crest is still thick. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.
Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Gesrethe was born with her mother's beautiful face. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Gesrethe was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.
Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away; and revenge

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.
History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Bethrynna was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: Tabaxi compassion; and wants to work out more often

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She feeds upon the attention of others.
History: Jasmine was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature morningstar.
