Description: She dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a black coat with brown slacks. She carries a battered monstrous two handed axe and tarnished axe as well. She sports a flattop hair cut. She has brown eyes and a brown hat with a black feather.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jarana embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Jarana was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Jarana alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Description: He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He carries with him a set of hammers on his belt, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. His red hair, when down, is lengthy. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When Qualen reached his early adolescence his Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and retire the richest man in the east

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. She is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around her ears. She wears an eyepatch.
Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.
History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears professional attire. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: Pallabar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.
History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
