History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Through the years after Mumpena was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Baern hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born into a rich family. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Pelaios has worked very hard to control his curse. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When Kathra reached her early adolescence her Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 9. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Revenge.

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she wears a pastel shirt, with a white mid length skirt with white tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. Her cinnamon fur is matted, messy, and big. Her eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Flask was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.
