Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Smoking fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. The war was a terrible time for her, and Right-Handed does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Right-Handed was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: Born in the north to a Jeweler, Avelina learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Bowyer, but she got bored and became a Jeweler. She tends to her Jeweler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and regain custody of her son

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Stableman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
