History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Torbera embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Torbera hails from a village terrorized by orcs. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the north were limited. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wants to work out more often

History: Born in the north to a Brewer, Left-Handed learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Brewer for hire.

Her gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Heather abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

History: He was born in a small island village. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Recently the stress of being a Blacksmith has made it difficult for him to sleep.

History: Ernest was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
