Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Gifted from a young age, Bertram studied abroad. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

Motivation: To be a Map Maker again; and balancing his hectic life and new cartwright responsibilities is difficult

She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the south were limited. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: She was born in a small desert village. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.
