History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Horza abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her parents were killed by orcs in a raid when she was still a young child. The orcs captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and she is content

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. Being a Cartwright kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
