Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Chad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Chad reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: Born to a Map Maker, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Mayor for the past few years.

History: Barendd was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she has decided she is irredeemable

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Senteq was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down
