Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Uthûg was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Uthûg's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

This gray eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His first spouse was a Bookbinder, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Scribe, and he later adopted a second son.
Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Arannis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
