Description: She very much looks the part of a Blacksmith, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 3'4" when asserting herself. With bright white hair. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.
History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Blacksmith for the past few years.
Motivation: Expand her business; and balancing her hectic life and new blacksmith responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. After a long history of fighting, Valafar and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This woman stands a little under 3'4" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears a blue cloak and cross-gartered grey stockings. She keeps her long blonde hair kept up in a rat tail. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. A true patriot, Donella would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Donella was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. During her travels, Donella and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Donella discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Donella fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is obsessed with her god.
History: She was born in a small plains village. Rose liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.
History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. One day when Jade was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Jade was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
