He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She's also a talented Courier, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Carter.
