History: River was born with her mother's beautiful face. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Scribe. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Srorthen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Verin was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the drow.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Astaro's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Carter business.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Courier.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

History: Born in the south to a Crown-heir, Astaro learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Crown-heir and found it very stressful. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Crown-heir for the past few years.
