History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. Her hair, while still mostly dark red, has prominent grey streaks. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Decarabia was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He got into the Weaver business at a young age. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He became a Weaver soon after.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to be a spice merchant again

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Personality: He is a Bookbinder first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.
