Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Xappan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Hadwisa wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Duergath grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Duergath was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Stylist. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Surina lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She now mingles about in high society.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes
