She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Gifted from a young age, Malquis studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Malquis took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: Born in the west to a Knight, Gomory learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's also a talented Detective, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and she is content

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. After a long history of fighting, Marbas and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
