History: Riardon lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Carpenter, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to reunite with his absent father

History: He got into the Scribe business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Mason, but he got bored and became a Scribe. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: Mara was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has achieved small success as a Scribe.
